2014 is the 50th anniversary of Chopard Scheufele. To celebrate this special day, Chopard launched the limited edition L.U.C 1963 watch. The limited-edition L.U.C 1963 watch is equipped with the LUC Calibre 63.01-L movement, which is the heritage of Chopard’s pocket watch movement in 1963. It was also the year Chopard acquired Scheufele from Geneva.
44mm rose and white gold case round and translucent
The translucent white dial has a small dial at 9 o’clock, a double hour hand, black Roman numerals, and a minute orbit. All of these elements are representative of traditional chronographs. The small dial is superimposed on the minute track and scaled with red Arabic numerals. Toffee-style double hands are the typical design of the new L.U.C series. But the highlight of this watch is the size of the movement: this movement is almost as large as the diameter of the watch.
