Innovative complication watches create the latest slim double record. For the first time, the Altiplano watch is equipped with a date display function. Whether it is a movement or a case, it can be the leader in ultra-thin watches. The new Piaget Altiplano Date watch is equipped with Piaget 1205P automatic movement (thickness is only 3 mm) and the case thickness is only 6.36 mm.
As the twelfth special gift to the Altiplano series, Piaget 1205P movement not only inherited the essence of the 1208P movement released in 2010, it also has an eccentric small second hand indication, and the date is set for the first time. The new Piaget 1205P movement fits perfectly in a 40mm case, making this piece even more distinctive. Under the transparent sapphire caseback, Piaget’s own movement rotates precisely. Elaborately designed no less than 221 movement parts, all produced and assembled by Piaget. A complex, precise and extremely sophisticated precision device came into being.
Always insisting on the unremitting pursuit and breakthrough of ultra-thin watchmaking. For more than half a century, it is precisely by virtue of its stunning ultra-thin technology that the count has left one monument after another in the history of fine watchmaking. These include the world’s thinnest Piaget 600P manually-wound rectangular tourbillon movement; the world’s thinnest automatic winding movement 12P (the predecessor of the latest Piaget 1205P movement) introduced in 1960; Introduced the 1208P and 1200S movements, the latter set the world’s thinnest automatic winding skeleton watch record. From design to production, all the processes of Piaget ultra-thin watches are independently completed by Piaget Fine Watchmaking Factory. Not only that, Piaget Fine Watchmaking Factory is determined to innovate and expand new fields of watch industry based on existing achievements. In 2004, the watch factory developed the Piaget 600S movement, which became the world’s thinnest hollow-out floating tourbillon movement. The following year, Piaget reappeared a unique skill, and on this basis set diamonds and launched a 600D hollow-set diamond-winding movement, an unprecedented work, and its slim record has never been achieved. Thanks to the masterpieces of Piaget’s two watchmaking factories, La Côte-aux-Fées and Plan-les-Ouates, Piaget has realized the perfect combination of high-end watches and fine jewelry, and has mastered ultra-complex manufacturing. Watch craftsmanship of top watch brands.
Altiplano Date is the perfect expression of simplicity and elegance. Only pure and simple works can become classics from generation to generation. The Piaget Altiplano Date watch is available in white, rose and rose gold with diamonds (72 diamonds, approx. 1 carat). The 40mm case is tailor-made for its 1205P movement. The details of the movement are all charm: ring Geneva wave pattern, polished round main plate, chamfered bridge, solar radiation decorative gear set, blue steel screws, special power correction system and rose gold engraved with the Piaget family emblem Micro-automatic disks are paying tribute to traditional crafts.

The three-layer dial Altiplano Date is a classic of Piaget’s ultra-thin self-winding movement. The movement follows the eccentric small second hand indication, the display is set at 5 o’clock, and echoes the date display window at 9 o’clock, forming a balance of beauty. Adhering to the consistent style of the Altiplano automatic watch, the dial presents the fine interactive mode of time scales and double time scales, and is printed with the word ‘automatic’ in a low-key manner.
On the white round dial, the small seconds dial is eccentrically designed. The entire watch is simple and generous, showing the original inherent attitude of Piaget, and pursuing ultra-thin design, in order to pay tribute to traditional craftsmanship.
Summary: This watch is an 18K rose gold diamond watch. I personally think that its beauty lies in its design, which still retains the essence of traditional craftsmanship. Its inlaid grain diamonds add a touch of brilliance to the watch. For this reason, I personally feel that it must be a stunner for female friends.
